Unlock VS Mode (Japanese Version)

At the title screen, hold L1 and R2, then press Right and Square simultaneously.

VS Mode All Skills Available (Japanese Version)

During a VS Mode battle, pause the game, hold R1 and press Left, Left, Right, Right, L1, L1, L2, L2, L1, Right, Left. All the skills of the equipped sword will become available. During a 2 player battle, only the player that has entered the code will have all his skills. If you want both players to have all their skills, both players must enter the code.

Restore health (Japanese version)

Pause the game, then hold L1 + L2 and press Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Square. Note: This cannot be done in versus mode.

Increase sword hardness (Japanese version)

Pause the game, then hold R1 + R2 and press Right(7), Left, Down, Up, Square. The main player's currently equipped sword will increase in hardness by one. Repeat as needed to reach the maximum hardness of five. Note: This cannot be done in versus mode.

Increase brightness (Japanese version)
