Easier Dogfight

When playing the earlier planes, esp. against the Japenese, you will find yourself getting shot at from behind an awful lot. An easy way to avoid this is to suddenly cut back your throttle to almost stall, make your plane pitch forward and then quickly change your throttle to wide open. When you do that make your plane point to the sky. The persuing plane will shoot by you, making you the hunter. This will not work with the 262 and Komets, as they have a better turn radius than most of the slower planes.

Cannon Choice

Keep in mind when choosing which cannon you want. The larger cannon packs more punch but you cant hold as many shells. The smaller one, while not doing as much damage, is near double the ammo capacity. This works esp well with some of the challenge missions (sinking uboats) and the mission on the Eastern Front..with all the tanks. Try using it in dogfights too...takes out fighters and bombers with ease.

Dornier 335

Totally complete the game (all secondary and bonus objectives in every level) to unlock the German Dornier 335. This plane has a propeller in the back and middle. It can range from 72 to 450 mph.

Press Up, Down, Left, Right, R(2), L(2) at the menu with "Continue" and "New Game" options. The phrase "Secret code accepted" will be spoken to confirm correct code entry.
